An instrument of
one continent

Hand-built from timbers that grow nowhere else on earth, and the whole of its making is recorded, permanently, in the instrument itself. The body sits between a medium-bodied OM (orchestra model) and the smaller end of a dreadnought, a proportion the maker calls a DOM, in the spirit of the “modified dreadnought” coined by Ervin Somogyi, strung at a 648 mm (25.5 inch) scale length. Every element is shaped by hand, down to the end graft cut as a stylised phi, inspired by the work of Casimi Guitars.
